New Component for Joomla!

About Me

My name is Ron Bassett. I am a Web Application Developer. Most of my experience is with php and mysql. Although I am learning Python. For the past year I have been working for Walling Data Systems developing a tool set. Before that I woked at Ballew Saw and Tool. After working 3 months I replaced their existing Webmaster. The company website is currently in transition from www.ballewsaw.com to www.ballewsawandtool.com. They soon learned about my networking skills and I became the IT/Webmaster.

I'm working on a new component for Joomla/VirtueMart. Recently I have been in the need for listing child products in a table. Until now the only was was to used hacked files and you couldn't add info to the table. I needed the ability to add info such as: width, height, length, size. It will store all this info in the database per item. Should reach beta phase sometime this month.
